Community Involvement

Dave gives a tremendous amount of time and energy to charitable organizations.  Since 2005 Dave and his wife Christy have Co-Chaired the Bread of Life Youth Retreat providing a positive weekend experience attended by hundreds of Chicago teens each year.  They also lead the church’s Pre-Cana weekends for couples about to enter marriage.

Dave has also mentored and raised funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. Team In Training is a marathon training program that raises money to assist patients who are afflicted with blood diseases, and also to help with research to find a cure. Dave met his wife Christy on a plane on the way to Anchorage to run their first marathon with the Team in 2001.
